You could answer everything. He's the centre of it all. And you'd be right. He is! But you could also answer nothing.
Yes, He didn't say anything about His own birth. It's all told to us by others.
In Luke 7, verses 18-23 Jesus clearly spoke about the point of His being born into the world. This section of the Bible is when Jesus is said to be 'a great prophet'.
John the Baptist wanted to know if that's true, or if God's promise about 'the One', was to be fulfilled by someone else?
Jesus said, and says to us. 'I'm the One'. And to prove He's the 'One' of Christmas; Lord of Heaven, Jesus said. 'Go and say to John that, 'The blind see! The lame walk! Sick people are healed! The deaf hear! The dead are raised, and the good news is being told'.
What good news? The same good news the angel told the shepherds at His birth. 'Today in Bethlehem, the Saviour was born for you. The One. The Lord'. That's still good news today.
The question is, do we believe it?
