The new Easter hat parade was an immediate favourite for many children and parents who went all out to celebrate the special occasion.
“We had lots and lots of children enter and the hats were amazing,” school principal Jilly Rainger said. She was thrilled to see fair weather in the midst of a wet weekend.
The nerf gun stall proved hard for many to tear away from, and children indulged in colourful designs at the face painting booth.
Sporting enthusiasts stretched their skills in the basketball shot competition while chocolate lovers scrambled for prizes in the Easter egg hunt. Holy Trinity students entertained the crowd with live music.
The evening was a huge fundraising effort for the school’s parent and friends organisation, and Jilly thanked the many businesses who donated “fantastic prizes” for the raffle. “It’s about bringing our community together,” she said.
